VR_Poolside

A project to dip into VR developing.

The biggest goal in mind, is to figure out how to make a VR experience about size shifting...without ever moving player in a way that's uncomfortable.

Since the pool scene was purchased on Booth and can't be redistributed, the project file is not included for this release. 

Please share any thought or issue report, I can barely get any tester for this one.

20260125:

- Change the environment to night time and give player right hand a flash light.

- Replaced lockers with awful topology.

- Separated the mesh of the building.

- Make the showering character dance, make time slower when shrunk.

- Swapped floor outside for slightly better texture resolution.

new issue:

- vrm shading doesn't quite work with this "night & flashlight" aesthetic

Known issue/ Todo:

- The drain in the shower flickering a lot (On my setup, at least)

- The water shader doesn't quite work on object outline

- Everything in general is too low-less to be viewed this close up

- The floating button gets clipped into the platform due to incorrect math

- The floating platform with a giant button is just stupid and should be replaced with something

- Pimax user reported engine error after hitting use bottom due to "zero frustum", whatever that means

VR with size is surprisingly easy to set up. Ordinary 3D on the other hand, oh my god, I don't know if I have it in me. 

I will see how much I can get away with pre-made assets.
